How fast is live embroidery at an event?

How long does one piece take?

Stitch time is set by the design, not the machine mood. A two- or three-initial monogram runs about four to seven minutes on the needle. A small embroidered logo of eight to twelve thousand stitches runs eight to fourteen minutes. A dense, detailed mark can push past fifteen minutes, which is exactly why we talk through your art before the event.

So will guests wait forever?

No, because the wait guests feel is a function of head count, not the run time of a single piece. With four heads running in parallel, four guests are stitching at once, so a five-minute monogram means a five-minute queue even with a crowd around the table. We size heads to your expected turnout so the line paces to single-digit minutes.

Can you speed it up for a huge crowd?

We speed the line, not the stitch. Options: add heads, offer a simpler monogram-only menu during peak windows, pre-hoop between guests, or pair embroidery with a live DTF heat-press station that finishes full-color pieces in seconds for the folks who do not need stitching. We recommend the mix based on your guest count and hours.
